Lean Six Sigma Executive Overview Program
| 08.30 - 17.30 : Lean Six Sigma Executive Overview Program |
For Executives, leaders of quality teams and others interested in a basic introduction to Six Sigma and Lean tools.
Six Sigma is fast making the leap from the manufacturing floor to the board rooms of healthcare companies, biotechnology firms, telecom providers, financial organizations and even government agencies. Driven by the many success stories shown in mainstream business media, companies of all types and sizes are turning to Six Sigma to save time and money, improve internal processes and earn stronger profits.
As companies increasingly explore Lean Six Sigma in search of a quality improvement program, they are pleased to discover that Lean Six Sigma is a comprehensive methodology for process improvement. Lean Six Sigma provides organizations with a way to do business faster and with less waste (Lean); at the same time Lean Six Sigma enables organizations to do business better with less variation and fewer defects (Six Sigma). In short, Lean Six Sigma is a roadmap for-long term success without sacrificing quality, service or customer satisfaction.
Lean Six Sigma works because: (a) it aligns the organizations vision and focus on improving processes, (b) it allows problem-solvers to work together in a well-defined support system, (c) it has more working parts and, therefore, can be morphed to meet any possible need for operational improvement, (d)
it incorporates the powerful DMAIC tools and process to reduce variation, and at the same time it incorporates the powerful Lean tools to improve mean performance.
The class is an eight-hour workshop that covers the basic concepts and fundamental philosophy behind Six Sigma and Lean; its impact and what it takes to successfully build an infrastructure to support Six Sigma and Lean within an organization.
What Participants Learn:
The practical and literal translations of Six Sigma and Lean and their evolution into modern business.
What types of companies are best suited for Six Sigma and Lean, and have the greatest potential for success.
